Since I was a child I loved walking in the woods, noting the flowers, leaves, moss, trees, lichen, pine cones...the list is endless. I carried that love of nature into a rubber stamp business which I had for twenty years. With the help of my very talented husband who is a wildlife artist, a line of stamps, often with botanical and animal themes was created. After moving to Vermont in 2015, I found I was missing a creative outlet despite being surrounded by nature and decided to try my hand at botanical plaster casting. I felt that creative passion arise again. I have always loved colouring so this also allowed me to while away the hours painting.
