Plaster casting is an art form which seems to need a description. After attending a few shows, I quickly realized that the process is not evident. The flowers and leaves appear to be encased in plaster, but the relief is created by first making an impression with the flora, and then filling it with plaster, to get the reverse impression. Each casting is then dried and hand-painted and finally, a custom-made or completely hand-made frame from local barn wood is added.
All prices are in US dollars and include the frame. It is preferable for you to contact me regarding the shipping of a specific piece as I can then be accurate with the exact cost.
